Conveyancing Legal Secretary

McSparran McCormick Solicitors requires a Conveyancing Legal Secretary to work in our Clarkston branch office.

The role will involve general Conveyancing Secretarial work including:

  • The typing of dictated conveyancing work

  • Effective file management of conveyancing work

  • Dealing with file related queries using your own initiative

  • Supporting clients in a polite and appropriate manner

  • Raising legal matters with the solicitor dealing with the transaction

  • General office administration to include faxing, photocopying and filing

  • Familiarising yourself with the internal office systems, policies and procedures and ensure that these are adhered to on a daily basis

  • Work on your own caseload with the minimum of supervision

The successful candidate must be able to work on their own initiative, manage their own caseload and communicate and work effectively with others in the office.
