New Business Executive

30000 - 35000 per annum + Bonus and other benefits

We are currently looking for a New Business Executive for our national client who are looking to recruit in the Aberdeen area. This is a home-based role but you will have support from the Glasgow site. The successful candidate will be expected to build on the organisation's existing client base, through sales and service in order to meet and exceed sales targets, and to increase the profitability of the business, remaining committed to treating customers fairly. Your main areas of responsibility will be to: * Manage data effectively through a variety of sources in order to produce sales targets * Organise and manage yourself to produce a productive and effective output of data and sales * Manage customers journey from point of sale through to first renewal * Make pro-active outbound contact to potential customers who are in a position to transfer supplier either now or in the future. * Recognise and seek opportunities to up/cross sell additional products and services that the business offers * Pro-actively make outbound phone calls to potential customers to promote company products and services in line with customer requirements * Operate and effectively manage our CRM database with all customer contact and information ensuring accurate records are maintained. * Keep abreast of developments within the energy markets, provide accurate market information to clients and share new industry knowledge with colleagues. * Attend new and existing client meetings at their premises, delivering contract renewals and building strong relationships with clients * Research and prepare for prospect meetings to identify their requirements and help close the sale * Liaising with Operations team on client requirements to ensure high quality customer service * Attend renewal meetings with clients * Knowledge of regulatory bodies, and adhere to codes of conduct * Review your own sales performance, ensuring yours and the company's targets are met or exceeded * Attend external seminars and conferences as and when required * Participate in on-going training and development, regular performance reviews and monthly one to ones. * Carry out any other reasonable duties as required by the company * Adhere to the company and department standards, policies and procedures. * Adhere to the policies and procedures to attain and maintain the required competency level to perform the role and, in particular, to promote a culture where customers are treated fairly, with openness and honesty. * Apply company values in all day to day activities. * Understand the health, safety, environmental & associated legal requirements that are relevant to our work and comply with these. Actively promote issues regarding health, safety & the environment. You will be expected to build relationships with new and existing customers, as well as have a close working relationship with the Operational team, other members of your department, and colleagues at all levels of seniority within the business.
