The Department of Law within the Faculty of Media & Communication is seeking to recruit a practicing or non-practicing Solicitor or Legal Executive with practice experience to teach on the Legal Practice Course on a temporary, part-time hourly paid basis.  The successful applicant will have relevant practice experience, and preferably teaching experience, in areas including Criminal Law, Wills, Family Law and Private Client. 

In addition to the Legal Practice Course the department delivers a range of law programmes including an LLB with pathways and graduate/postgraduate courses - CPE, PGCertIP & LLM as well as research degrees.  

The department also hosts the Centre for Intellectual Property Policy & Management one of Europe’s foremost, research centres in intellectual property.  We also have research groups in international criminal law and in corporate, commercial law and business regulation.

This is temporary, part-time hourly paid post working approximately 5 hours per week until 31 July 2018.
