We are a multi utility company head quartered in Scotland.  Energetics are utility experts in the design and build of multi utility networks.

Energetics works with the UK's leading housebuilders, construction firms and independent consulting companies. We provide gas, electricity and water to new residential and commercial developments for housing and construction customers across the UK.

Our flagship commercial projects include MediaCityUK and Birmingham New Street Station with major residential developments such as New Solihull and Greenwich Millennium Village. Our utility engineering and constructions teams have worked on many new developments including a 2,650 new homes development in Newark, Nottinghamshire, and the redevelopment of the Silverstone Circuit and surrounding retail and commercial development.

We are looking for a Land Rights Officer to join our business, as part of the Legal and Regulatory Affairs team.   This role’s primary objective is to secure our right to access and maintain networks.

Deciding whether land rights are needed for a project, you’ll manage our external solicitors to bring the land rights transaction to completion.  By pre-emptying potential issues in land rights transaction you’ll coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. 

Our business is expanding and you will manage a number of projects at any one point in time, prioritising and providing instructions to external lawyers. 

You’ll have:

  • Experience of commercial conveyancing in either paralegal or a conveyancing role.
  • A proven track record of working effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience of managing a variety of stakeholders effectively.
  • The ability to learn technical information where required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, influencing internal and external stakeholders.
  • The ability to assess risk and take decisions to a professional standard.
