Receptionist - Part Time (20hrs)

Prestigious legal firm in Aberdeen has an opportunity for an experienced Receptionist to join their team on a part time basis.

This is a job share role and involves 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday 1pm – 5pm.

Reporting to the Senior Facilities Manager, this role will involve:

  • Meet and greet all visitors, sign in and notify relevant department
  • Coordinate room bookings
  • Liaise with Facilities, IT and catering staff to provide equipment / refreshments to Clients and for internal meetings
  • Book taxis for clients / staff, logging all requests/booking
  • Cover switchroom console as and when required
  • Assist with kitchen duties as required
  • Manage all mail, internal, dx and courier, log all signatures received by departments
  • At times support the facilities team with mail, conference phones, meeting equipment, faults/problems with office equipment
  • Liaise with contractors
  • Coordinate stationary requests

Skills and experience required:

  • Previous experience in a receptionist position
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Outlook
  • Must be able to evidence a pro-active, flexible ‘can-do’ approach to work, and have experience of working with minimal supervision
  • First class organisational skills and be able to manage conflicting priorities
  • Must possess excellent communication skills as well as have the ability to respond quickly and effectively to our internal and external clients' needs
  • Must be confident in dealing with people of all levels within the business
