Our client, an established and reputable Civil Engineering Contractor who specialise in rail and general civil engineering are looking for a SSOW Planner to join their team in North Lanarkshire.
This will be an integral role within the company which will ensure that projects are delivered within the set time scales and to the highest quality.

As a SSOW you will be responsible for planning possession and project arrangements including coordinating and preparing planning programmes and ensuring that these are submitted to relevant personnel. You will also ensure that any changes to the programme are monitored and effectively communicated to various project members. You will be required to attend various project meetings as well as maintain existing and establishing new stakeholder relationships. Health and safety will also form an important part of this role where you will ensure that all aspects of safety are taken into consideration when planning a project.

What do you need to apply?
Planning qualification / degree (or equivalent)
SSOW planning qualification core level 2
Extensive experience within a similar role
PPS planning access
Excellent understanding of the rail and construction sectors
Good written and verbal communication skills due to the level on interaction associated with this role
