Avaloq Innovation is now recruiting for an experienced Software Partner Manager to join the Edinburgh team.

As Software Partner Manager, you will develop and manage Avaloq’s software partnerships internationally in close collaboration with the market offering owners. This includes defining the partner strategy, selecting partners, 'ramping up' and enabling of partners, coordinating (re-)certification, negotiating contracts and partner monitoring and communication. 

Representing software partners in Avaloq, the the focus of the role is on the mutual relationship and managing the interests of both parties involved.

We are seeking a candidate who has gained solid experience of negotiating, drafting and managing complex partner contracts.  A legal background or solid knowledge of the legal considerations related to software contract management is highly preferred.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support the Design and implementation of the company-wide software partner strategy
  • Negotiate complex and high volume partner contracts
  • Leverage partnerships to enable and support business development of Avaloq
  • Lead the expansion of the Partner network worldwide in close collaboration with the regions and head quarter requirements
  • Act as the primary link between Avaloq entities and small to large and complex partners
  • Coordinate the (re-) certification process every half a year
  • Consult senior executive management in partner topics
  • Overall responsibility for partner marketing, communication and events
  • Designs and maintains partner monitoring and reporting (capacity, capability & quality)
  • Represent Avaloq at partner meetings and events

The required skillset is broad as the successful Software Partner Manager will be required to work across many organisational levels.  The role requires a diplomat, lobbying to align all parties and keep them aligned.  Entrepreneurial skills are essential in order to develop new ideas and gain buy in from others.

  • Experienced in software industry contract negotiation and drafting - ideally with a legal background
  • Highly skilled stakeholder manager
  • Deep knowledge of license and pricing models
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Knowledge of the banking industry
