HR / Training Administrator  - Edinburgh - Perm - Salary £17k - £19K per annum

Change Recruitment Group’s client, an established and successful practice within its sector, are currently looking to recruit a HR / Training Administrator based in Edinburgh City Centre.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented HR Administrator to join a leading Accountancy practice, providing support to the existing HR / Training Team and to take on and develop a breadth of responsibilities within an entrepreneurial business.  

This role is offered on Permanent Contract basis.   

The working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm  35 hours per week with a Competitive base salary + benefit

The Role
The successful candidate  will deliver a professional HR and training service to the firm across 3 office and you will be expected to provide a high quality administration service to the HR & Training teams.

You must be a team player and willing to be a multi tasker as you be working on several projects at the same time.

Key Duties and Responsibilities include:

Human Resources Management Support
·    Absence management administration
·    Organise probation forms and processes
·    Administer the leavers process
·    Answering general HR queries e.g. maternity / holidays / absence queries across the 3 offices.

Recruitment & Graduate Recruitment
·    Building effective relationships with agencies, reviewing and tracking CVs as they come in
·    Completing new start paperwork and processes
·    Organising and conducting inductions for new starts
·    Organising all advertising and selection processes for Graduate Recruitment
·    Overseeing the application marking and tracking
·    Organising and facilitating the assessment centres for training team
·    Ensuring all new employees have their induction planned and registration to professional bodies
·    Delivering graduate Induction tours

Training Department
·    Book training courses (internal & external)
·    Responsible for the scheduling of the annual training plans for audit, business advisory and tax teams
·    Review the training mailbox and calendar, produce delegate lists and administer training evaluations
·    Review evaluation reports to identify areas for improvement and make suggestions to course presenters

General Administration Duties
·    Annual fit and proper forms
·    Completing reference requests for past employees
·    Annual CPD updates for all qualified employees
·    Maintain personal details on HR/payroll systems
·    Policy updates as required, updating the intranet
·    Filing and typing

Essential to have:

Previous experience working in an administrative environment ideally in a HR or Training environment
Demonstrated ability with computer skills including intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise own workload and deal with conflicting priorities
Ability to respond to a high volume of queries, ensuring a high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to communicate effectively with clear and concise language verbally and with written correspondence

You must be able to pass a Disclosure Scotland & Credit Check to be considered for these roles.

The hours of work will be Monday to Friday; 35 hrs per week from 9 am to 5pm.  

The salary is £17k - £19K per annum.
