An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Office Secretary/PA. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a key confidential secretarial and administrative support service to the Office Bearers, Chief Executive and Executive Assistant.

The Corporate Office Team comprises the Executive Assistant and the Corporate Office Secretary/PA who provide support to the CEO, President, Vice President and Past President.   The CEO is responsible for the successful delivery of the Society’s Strategy “Leading Legal Excellence – Our Strategy 2015 – 2020” along with a team of 5 Executive Directors covering Regulation, Education, Training & Qualifications, External Relations, Finance & Operations, and Member Services.   The President, Vice President and Past President roles are varied and they engage with members to highlight what the Society is doing on their behalf as well as seeking members’ views on the work of the Society.  In addition, they attend a variety of Conferences world-wide to promote the Scottish Solicitor brand. The successful candidate will contribute to the successful delivery of the Strategy and ensuring the office bearers have all the information they require to undertake their roles. 

To successfully deliver this role, key skills include excellent interpersonal skills, extensive complex diary management, competent in Microsoft Office packages, minute taking skills, good time management and attention to detail.  The candidate will demonstrate a flexible approach with the ability to adapt to change.
