Paralegal – Residential or Commercial Conveyancing

Application Recruitment are currently seeking candidates for a great opportunity within a large corporate legal firm, based in the city centre of Edinburgh.

We are seeking applications from experienced Residential or Commercial Property Paralegals to work mainly on plot sales within the House Builder Team which currently has 4 members. 

The Role:

• Negotiating and concluding missives
• Reporting to and taking instructions from the client
• Completing plot sales transactions
• Compiling title packs and on-line data for developments/sites
• Preparing letters of non-crystallisation and deeds of restriction
• Assisting in the process of buying in and selling on part-exchange properties
• Examining title for part-exchange properties
• Preparing and submitting LBTT returns for part exchange properties
• Preparing and submitting applications for registration

Your experience:

• Relevant qualifications and/or relevant paralegal experience, ideally in plot sales
• Working knowledge and understanding of Scottish property conveyancing
• Experience of working as either a Commercial or Residential Conveyancing Paralegal
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Strong communicator
• Competent IT skills
