An exciting position has arisen for a Client Relationship Manager to deliver expert customer service to residential property clients and oversee a portfolio of block developments.  Our client is a dynamic and well-established business that is going through a period of sustained growth and is now looking for an enthusiastic Client Relationship Manager to add to their growing team.

The job
You will have principal responsibility for the effective and efficient management of numerous developments, ensuring that high standards within the blocks are maintained at all times.  You will act as first point of contact for residents, building strong, trusting relationships over the phone, via correspondence and in person attending Residents’ meetings.  You will instruct a range of contractors and deal with local authorities to ensure high levels of property maintenance and legal compliance are met.

The person

You will be highly customer focused with the ability to deal effectively and patiently with issues and complaints to ensure a ‘win/win’ scenario.  You will have prior experience of being able to defuse situations which could otherwise spiral.  You will be highly numerate with experience of cost control, paying close attention to detail.  You are a confident individual and professional communicator with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

You are likely to be degree qualified with background and interest in property, facilities management or contract management.

You have a ‘can-do’ attitude, pro-active approach to work and organised mind set are essential along with a Driving Licence


  • Delivering effective service levels, and acting as the Property Management representative towards Lessees and Developer clients as appropriate, ensuring all areas of the development are fully presentable, serviced and properly maintained.
  • Building and maintaining working relationships with the committee of any Residents Association and attending their meetings as appropriate
  • Direct liaison and communication (ensuring high levels of customer service) with residents, identifying areas of concern, issuing correspondence and resolving day to day management and maintenance matters
  • Ensuring all Health & Safety obligations and Duty of Care are met effectively, and that all routine checks are in place and carried out (to include regular auditing)
  • The monitoring and supervision of any authorised contractors instructed to carry out works on and around the properties, authorisation of payment, and conflict resolution.
  • The regular inspection and audit of all areas of the development, keeping detailed and accurate records of such. To include prompt rectification of cleaning and maintenance issues arising.
  • Effective cost control and review of expenditure and accounts, including assisting with setting service charges and presenting of accounts.
  • Preparation and presentation of regular financial summary reports.


  • A good overall education to degree level to include excellent written and verbal English & Maths
