As a web front-end developer you’re working in a newly formed team. You’ll have the chance to gain more experience in modern web front-end development while working on our next generation web applications.

We have a small development team in Utrecht, consisting of a back-end development team and a newly formed front-end team. We’re mostly focused on development of the next generation product lines for the Petrolink group, which are using web technologies such as Angular4, Redux and NodeJS.

You’re employed full time, working from the Aberdeen office, in a collaborative work environment. You’ll be working closely with an experienced web developer and interact with both front-end and back-end team members. While our organisation is transitioning to modern web technologies, you’ll also be exposed to various other technologies used in our organisation (C#, IIS).

You can:

You have:

  • A master (MSc) degree in Computer Sciences. Alternatively a university degree with substantial professional experience
  • 3+ years of experience in web development, using modern technologies
  • Knowledge and experience with:
    • JavaScript
    • Typescript
    • Angular(2/4), React or similar frameworks / libraries
    • Canvas, SVG and/or WebGL
    • Responsive design (html5, css3)
    • NodeJS, npm
    • Shared code repositories (Git, SVN, Mercurial)
  • Proficient level of English (ILR Lvl 3)
