To support the Payroll Manager in the design, review and development of the new system for payroll ensuring compliance with legislation, policy and procedures.

The client is a Non-Departmental Public Body based in Edinburgh.
Description
Support the Payroll Manager in the development of the CBS system to maximise performance and to ensure plans and tasks are prioritised, reviewed and completed to timescales
Support the Payroll Manager in the design, review and development of payroll requirements, process maps, solution design documents and system build so that the CBS system is configured to satisfy the oragnisations requirements and processes as well as current best practice and legislation
Ensure compliance with the organisations policies and procedures, controls, legislative and statutory requirements to ensure all activities are fit for purpose and aligned to the requirements of the organisation
Create, review and complete testing documents, IST, UAT, Payroll Parallel Runs including production of supporting documents to ensure the system has been designed and built to specification and complies with legislation, policy and procedures
Identify, clarify and evaluate issues and risks associated with the project to initiate corrective action(s)
Produce reports and statistical information as required to ensure user requirements are met.
Participate in the development of training materials as well as to provide the Payroll team with adequate training and support on the new CBS system
