Full Stack Developers - Multiple


Harvey Nash is exclusively partnered with a thriving software house whom have recently secured their first premises in Scotland. Based in central Edinburgh, they are in the process of now building out their entire Scottish capability to supplement the success they have enjoyed so far elsewhere in the UK. Our client specialises in cloud based data analytics within the FMCG space to provide insight into exactly how a company's product is performing online across a variety of categories.

They are looking to invest in Software Engineers whom take pride in their code and are invested in the product they are writing it for. Java and JavaScript are their main languages, however they choose the best tools for the job without being overly precious. Their front end runs on Bootstrap and Angular, whilst they use for their API and Java for their backend batch processes, elastic search for their document store and Docker for containerisation. Our client seeks Java Developers with a firm interest in TDD.

They operate in bi-weekly sprints and host their platform via Google Cloud. On offer is the chance to design and build software in the cloud, whilst working closely with a brand new team of developers and product owner to refine requirements and plan the work to be done. Ideally you will be an advocate of a DevOps mindset, notably comfortable with JIRA, Confluence and Jenkins.

This is something completely new to the Edinburgh scene and is sure to turn a number of heads within our technical community.

You'll be part of something a bit different and most definitely being given the chance to upskill. Our client is very keen to express they want to create an environment centred around productivity but one that is also fun. You will be given full autonomy to experiment whilst also being one of the people to help our client get off the ground in Scotland.
