Are you experienced working in an Accountancy position within a Professional Services organisation and interested in developing your career within Legal?

Our client is a highly respected Legal Firm in Glasgow City Centre that has a reputation for providing a first class service to their clients and developing their staff at all levels.

Are you who we are looking for?

  • Experience of working in a cashiering environment in the legal sector would be highly advantageous
  • Knowledge of the Law Society of Scotland Accountancy rules
  • Strong IT skills
  • Knowledge of working with an accountancy system
  • Be a hard-working, methodical and dedicated person that is keen to do well
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills as this role will require client interaction
  • Experience working in a professional services environment

What will the day to day look like?

  • Ensuring all client transactions are dealt with in accordance with the Law Society of Scotland rules
  • Inputting of payments onto various platforms
  • Cancelling any out of date cheques
  • Banking and processing
  • Taking credit/debit card payments
  • Obtaining and filing bank statements
  • Full running and checking of weekly reports
  • Working closely with fee earners and other support staff
  • Providing an excellent service to clients at all times
