In the role of Commercial Manager you manage loans trade performance by recommending and delivering our strategy for customer acquisition channels and working with Operations to ensure capacity for delivery, to achieve the long term plan.    

In the role you are accountable for:

Trade performance monitoring, reporting and producing valuable insight to identify opportunities and threats to LTP. 

Defining, recommending and delivering the aggregator smart search strategy – developing proposals that benefit the P+L and obtain buy in from senior stakeholders.

Supporting the creation and development of wider Loans marketing plans (inc digital), where channels and activities are optimised and there is a clear test and learn plan in place.

Ensuring the annual marketing budget has been forecast and optimised and is tracked monthly against budget.

Briefing marketing campaigns and setting up and co-ordinating regular marketing results sessions to identify improvements.

Leading the creation and development of new trading reports and monitoring tools with BI colleagues.

Key attendee to the digital NWT, supporting the delivery of website briefs, MVT testing and customer journey improvements.

The day to day point of contact with Operations; updating them on trade performance/future forecasts, communicating changes to product/acquisition channels and ensuring operational capacity is available to achieve plan.

Commercial lead in referral management; with the objective of improving sales efficiencies and allowing loans to adapt and optimise our referral rules to maximise profit, based on operational resource.   

Experience relevant for the role:

Experience managing a wide range of stakeholders. 

Experience in marketing planning and budget management.

Good understanding of 1, 2, 3 risk management.

Strong communication and planning skills.

Time management and ability to work to deadlines.

Ability to analyse data, identify opportunities, quantify business cases and make recommendations.

Good understanding of the P+L and contributors.

A positive can do attitude.

People management skills.
