Brodie, who has an LLB and a diploma in legal practice, joined Grant Thornton in July 2004 after spending six-and-a-half years with Deloitte & Touche.
He has been responsible for growing the turnover of Grant Thornton's indirect taxation practice by more than 400%. Grant Thornton now has nine partners and nine directors based in Scotland. Across the UK, after the merger, Grant Thornton has 330 partners and 4500 staff.
